QUEEN ANNE'S SCHOOL

New Music Centre

Acoustic Architecture completed the full acoustic design and worked as part of a design team to help deliver this project. The client selected us to ensure music was put at the forefront of every design decision. Acoustic Architecture took a lead in specifying the design, layout, shape and size of all new rooms, including wall build-ups, air-handling attenuation and reverb treatment along with all audio, data and video networks.

The goal was to convert an existing grade II listed building into a new music centre. The first phase included an ensemble space, several practice rooms, a mac suite and offices. The second phase was part of the new school entrance and included a recital hall, recording studio, vocal booth and further practice rooms.
